As a result of that acquisition, you'll notice several cosmetic changes to PollingPoint.com and our survey system in the next week and months ahead. The first big change happened on May 14th, and you should be seeing it now both here and any time you take a survey with us.

Rest assured that despite the changes you see it's still the same great site running underneath, and none of the features you love have changed.

PALO ALTO, CA, August 07, 2007 - YouGov, plc (LSE: YOU), the UK's leading online market research company, announced today that it would acquire Palo Alto-based Polimetrix, Inc., a leader in online polling in the US. YouGov acquired 32% of Polimetrix in December 2006 and will pay $24.1 million in cash and stock for the remaining 68% of Polimetrix that it does not currently own. The transaction is expected to close in September.
