iPhone Well Received by PollingPoint Respondents

Back to Results Take This Poll

After the iPhone made a splash onto the market last year, PollingPoint respondents let us know what they thought about the new gadget. Cool or clunky? Here’s what you said:

Over half of respondents (55.8%) bought an iPhone, and 36.3% bought one the first week it was released.

Did you buy an iPhone?

While the iPhone is popular, other Apple products are even more so. Over 70% of you are Apple computer users and nearly 80% own iPods.

Do you own any of the following Apple products?

Only 34% of respondents were AT&T subscribers before the iPhone’s release, suggesting that a fair number of people were willing to open new wireless accounts to be able to use their iPhones.

Faster connectivity and GPS topped the wish lists of people who bought iPhones. These were also the features that people said would have made them more willing to buy an iPhone instead of holding out.

What feature would you most want to see added to the iPhone?

Which of the following features would make you most likely to buy an iPhone if it were added to the next model?

Even before Apple announced price reductions on select models, only a minority of you considered the iPhone’s price to be unreasonable.
